Joseph Donovan, ChFC, CLU. has been in the insurance industry for the last twenty years and has been an insurance instructor for the last eighteen. He holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Services (MSFS) from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Besides being an insurance CE course provider and instructor he is currently an adjunct professor for Palm Beach State College in Florida.
He has been teaching insurance CE courses, the Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and the Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) designations and the training of agents to secure the Federal financial services licenses for the last 20 years for the center of financial studies in New York.
He also held a position in management with Allstate insurance company for 20 years. His primary responsibilities with Allstate included; the recruitment and development of agents, assist agents in the opening and development of insurance agencies, training agents in business management and the licensing of their staff.
More recently, he developed several CE courses exclusively for the On Line Training Inc. and is the author of the "Property and Casualty Insurance for Insurance Practitioners" generic text book to be used by students and instructors in the preparation for the states' (all states) property and casualty and general lines insurance license exam.
